Kwantu Beans Co. (Pty) Ltd (“Kwantu”, “we”) is based in Cape Town, South Africa, and is the responsible party for your personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

What we collect

• When you order: your name, email, WhatsApp/phone number, province, delivery address and any order notes.
• When you join our newsletter: your email address and your consent.
• On your device: your cart and whether you have placed a first order are kept in your browser’s local storage. We do not use advertising cookies.

Why we use it

To process and deliver your order, contact you about it, send the newsletter if you opted in, and meet our legal and accounting obligations.

Who we share it with

PayFast processes your payment (we never see or store your card details). Brevo sends our newsletter. Netlify hosts this website. A courier receives only what is needed to deliver your order. We do not sell your information.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. Newsletter details are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, and you may unsubscribe from emails at any time using the link in each email. Contact us at info@kwantubeans.co.za.
